Anapen 150

The Anapen autoinjector delivers 0.3ml of solution for injection.

It is produced in three dosage strengths, Anapen 500 micrograms in 0.3ml, Anapen 300 micrograms in 0.3ml and Anapen Junior 150 micrograms in 0.3ml.

Anapen Junior 150 is recommended for children with a body mass of 15-25KG.

Anapen 300 is recommended for people with a body mass of 25KG and higher.

Anapen 500 is approved for patients with a body mass of 60KG and higher.

Anapen® 150 was approved by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency in London for the UK in July 2001.

By March 2003 Anapen 150 was approved in France, in Germany, in Sweden and in Ireland.

Further approvals were granted in 2005 in a number of other European Countries and subsequently in Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

New registrations are still runnning in a number of countries.

At manufacture has a shelf life of 21months.
